Polish Dance Workshop at MIT!

Polish Folk Dance Workshop sponsored by the MIT Folk Dance Club
A chance to learn Polish regional dances - mostly couple dances - some lyrical, some aerobic. Dances that are not currently in the international folk dance repertoire will be taught.
It will take place in the 3rd floor coffee house at the Stratton Student Ctr, 84 Mass. Ave (the modern building that shares a green with Kresge Auditorium). There will be a small fee for the workshop and party. The evening dance party (Polish Night, see below, in Lobdell Dining Hall, 2nd floor) will be an international folk dance party, but will feature the dances taught at the workshop, and other Polish dances in their repertoire, as will the following week's party (11/22/09).

Polish Night @ MIT
Time: Sunday (11/15/09), 8:00 - 11:00
Polish Night @ MIT will feature review and dancing of the Polish dances taught at the afternoon workshop and other Polish dances in the IFD repertoire, in addition to the usual selection of international dances.
Recreational folk dance - no partner required
